Well, I'm launching into the blogosphere. I do so with some trepidation. This is bound to be a work in progress, so readers beware! There will likely be theological reflections here, and commentary on developments in the Anglican Communion. Perhaps sharing of movies and books recently seen and read, and even a recipe or two.
In case you're wondering about the title of this blog, "Hic Est Lapis", turn to Acts 4, and read the response of Peter to the Sanhedrin. When asked by the Jewish leaders by whose authority he and John had been teaching and healing and proclaiming the resurrection of the dead, Peter proclaimed "it is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. This is the stone which the builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone." Hic est lapis.
Jesus is the stone which is the foundation of my life and my words. May He always be honored by what is written here.
